New to Living Waters?

Welcome to Living Waters Worship Center--a warm and loving church!
Trying to figure out what to expect? Perhaps this will help.

1. Where do I go when I drive up?  What about parking?
You'll see two buildings on our property as you enter from Highway 46.  The first building is our children's ministry facility for ages 4-5th grade. This building also houses our staff offices, so if you need to find us during the weekday, this is where you would go.  If you have children ages 4-5th grade that you need to drop off, stop here first. You'll go into the glass front doors, follow the signs and you and your children will be greeted and registered by our friendly G-force Kids Ministry staff.

If you do not have children to register, or perhaps they'd like to stay with you for the morning, that is fine too!  Drive on over to the next building.  We have plenty of parking, but if it is your first time or if you are an expectant mother, then we have front row parking just for you...our special guests! These spots are in the row right in front of the second building (the Family Life Center), next to our handicapped parking.

2.  What if I have small children (nursery & preschool)?
These children, due to their young age, are cared for in the same facility as the main sanctuary, the Family Life Center (FLC).  If you have children of this age, we invite you to go to our Kids' Kove entrance, located at the small foyer of this building.  If you drive up and are looking at the FLC, it will be the metal double doors to your far left, identified by the signs and photographs at the entrance.  Simply follow children's photos up the stairs to the facilities.  Or, if you would like to use the main entrance, stop by the two sets of glass double-doors under the drive lane.  You'll be directed where to register your children.

3.  What about my middle and high school students?
During the 11 AM service, we have a great ministry called "U-turn Middle School" for students in the 6th, 7th, & 8th grades. Because this is an "in-between" age with unique challenges and experiences, we have a class designed just for those "tweenagers."  U-turn Middle School meets upstairs in their own class room during the service.  They start in the auditorium, but are dismissed verbally by a pastor as well as by the graphics on the screen when it is time to head upstairs. The older students (grades 9-12) remain in the auditorium and worship with the adults.  However, Wednesday nights is the prime time for both of these age brackets.  Wednesdays at 7 PM we hold youth services in our Celebrations Center (3rd building). U-turn (grades 6-12) has a service designed for teenagers with their own worship band, activities and relevant messages.  They are all encouraged to come early on Wednesdays, as the "Krunch-N-Munch" snack bar is open from 6:00 to 6:45 for snacks, study time or and inexpensive dinner for all ages.

4. What do I wear?
The dress ranges from casual to professional on any given Sunday. The important thing is that you are here!

5. What is a typical service like?
Church should be an enjoyable experience, so our services are energetic and upbeat. We want every person who visits Living Waters to leave challenged as well as comforted. It is a time to visit with friends and learn encouraging truths from God's Word.

6. What are your service times?
We have Sunday services at 9:15 & 11 AM for all ages.  Each service includes ministry for nursery, toddler and elementary-aged students.  Wednesday evenings are a little different.  They start at 7:00 PM, and while there is a ministry for every age, after worship and praise, we dismiss into classes, called "Kingdom Builder" classes.  This varies from time to time in between school semesters, but nearly every Wednesday evening you'll find us here at 7:00 ready to worship God and fellowship!

7. What kind of music do you play?
We believe worship should be reverant and joyful. At our services, you'll enjoy contemporary praise and worship music, as well as a broad range of music styles. Our worship team is comprised of talented singers and musicians who are committed to serving God with excellence. Large screens displaying song lyrics will enable you to sing along, even if the songs are new to you; also, you will enjoy singing time-honored favorites which inspire everyone. So simply come and express your worship to God in a way that you feel comfortable.

8. Can I meet the pastors?
Absolutely!  Pastor Ed and Mrs. Paulette would love to spend just a few minutes getting to know you!  We have a "meet & greet" time immediately following the morning services. Simply come to the front of the auditorium after service to meet them.  We have a special gift to give you for taking a couple of minutes of your time.  This is also a great time to ask any questions that you may have.

9. Do you have refreshments at your services?
Our Holy Grounds Coffee Shop is open prior to the 9:15 AM service on Sundays in the Family Life Center.  We have coffee, donuts, and other goodies to give you a pick-me-up right before service. It's a great time to fellowship before church and meet some new people.
